The Orioles tended to use the same photo on their postcards over a period of years. The Ripken photo on the postcard you have was issued in 1981 and 1982, but your postcard is definitely from 1981. The 1982 version has a slight cropping difference on the Orioles of his uniform. The best part is it's his autograph from early in his career.
