Offering these one-of-kind 8x10 matted/framed prints created as samples for a gallery show I recently curated here in Peekskill, NY. These images are not available anywhere else and only one framed print of each was produced.

Both images presented have been crafted from brand new scans of original glass plate negatives shot by press photographers during the 1930’s. These negatives originated from The Sun, a daily Manhattan paper that sent press photographers out on assignment to shoot players as they came through the NY ballparks early in the season.
Chief Hogsett image was used in 1972 for TCMA's "The 1930's" set and Dick Bartell image was used in 1974 TCMA's 1936/1937 Giants set. Neither image has ever been issued in this size or quality.
