Many of the Bowman and Topps photos were taken by William Jacobellis, including 1951.
There is a pretty good article on his Bowman and Topps connections, including a deciphering of his back notes which can indicate who he dealt with.
Sometimes the painter changed the uniform (home or road) other times he changed the team if there was a trade.
