Default Historic Omission ?

I would think that Cap Anson belongs on any sort of list for a few reasons:
1) he played an integral role in establishing the color-line (and then enforcing it) back in the 1880's and
2) he was a tool of management and was disliked by his teammates (he was kind of a player-manager) and made their lives difficult;
3) he backed the owners not his fellow players in the 1889-91 player's league rebellion period; and
4) as much as any other great player he was a really arrogant guy who was known to complain or "kick" (hence,"Baby Anson") ceaselessly.

I'm not sure I can hate him (except for #1 above)... His career ended in the 1890's.
.....Ryan Braun I dislike .
