For consideration is a unique and significant presentational piece, which was given to Green Bay legend Ray Nitschke by his friend Robert Riodan, President of The Northeast Wisconsin Telephone Company in 1978, for being the "Greatest Packer of Them All". Featuring an engraved plaque on the wooden base, it has an antique glass Hemingway telegraph insulator sitting in the center, which is rare in its own right. Light wear exhibited throughout. Originally obtained from the Nitschke Estate and now being offered to a very lucky sports collector. The plaque reads as follows:

You simply will not find another piece quite like this. Also, the glue holding the insulator down has dried over the years and could benefit from another application, however as with many of the vintage items I list I’ve opted to NOT polish, clean or enhance the items appearance as I will leave at the discretion of the buyer as to how they wish for this piece to ultimately be presented.
