I just got a copy of the Cracker Jack book. I found it very informative.

I haven't seen the 52 set book yet, but the thing I enjoyed the most was reading about the post-baseball lives of the players. May not be as compelling for a contemporary set, but for the T206 and Cracker Jack it showed that a great deal of research was done.

That's what these are, stories about the players on the cards. You won't find much about the set itself, but you probably already know all that by now anyway.
