This is a fun set to go for in low condition, because quite often that means nice looking cards cut in half, which any self-respecting kid would have done back in the day. Heck, I did it to the 1980 Topps basketball set, so my Bird and Johnson are separate.

I have the complete 75 card Double Play set, or basically complete, as 68 of the 75 are cut in half. I used Card Saver 1 sleeves as shown in my Mize/Slaughter card, and they also work well in keeping the halves together.

I say go after a complete, in-half set, and keep any complete cards too...why not?
