It's hard to say with the AFLs. There are plenty of examples of single color pennants that can easily be attributed to the earliest days of the AFL. The Los Angeles Chargers have several and only existed for 1960. The Dallas Texans do as well (as you well know given recent events
). Also, the New York Titans.
And the AFL logo is not really a good indicator of age either, as it appears to have been used so intermittently. There are early examples of Texans and Titans with it, so we know it began somewhere between 1960-62, but then many other examples from later in the decade that do not have it.
