Pittsburgh’s lineup 50 years ago Wednesday included two future Hall of Fame players,
Clemente and left fielder
Willie Stargell, and four other players who were current or future All-Stars:
Sanguillen, first baseman
Al Oliver, third baseman
Cash and a Southern California native and a Gardena High School grad, pitcher
Dock Ellis.
Rounding out the starters were shortstop
Jackie Hernandez, second baseman
Rennie Stennett and center fielder
Gene Clines.
