1970’s 3-Sport auction CLOSED 10/30 at 9:50 PM
I need to clear out some duplicates from various 1970’s sets that I am working on and/or completed and thought I would auction them off while at the same time paying homage to my beloved Braves who advanced to the World Series for the first in over 20 years. There are 4 lots, 2 baseball one basketball and one football. Please bid on each lot separately. The minimum bid is $.95 in honor of the ‘95 World Champion Atlanta Braves, and bid increments must end in $.95 (e.g., $1.95). The auction ends Saturday 10/30 at 9:50 pm EST. Shipping regardless of which lot you win (or how many you win) is $2.95 for USPS First Class. If after Saturday’s WS game 4 the Braves are tied or ahead in the series, shipping is on me! I’ve tried to give descriptions of the condition of the cards, but if anyone wants better pics, just PM me. Here you go:
Lot 1 - ‘70’s Baseball Star/ HOF lot of 60+ from ‘70-‘76. Mixed grade mostly G, but some P/F and some VG. The 70 Clemente Carew and Brock are rough. A few have creases, backs are clean with the exception of the 71 McCovey which has tape residue and minor paper loss near the tape.
Lot 2 - 70’s baseball odd ball lot. (45) ‘70 Fleer Laughlin WS cards (mixed grade with duplication probably 25 different), (6) ‘71 Fleer Laughlin WS cards (all poor), ‘76 Cloth Sticker and (2) ‘71 Kellogg’s (Poor, Agee has paper loss and a horizontal crack, Perry has surface scratch and minor cracks around edge plus writing on the back).
Lot 3 - 77/78 and 78/79 Basketball with Cowens & Kareem. Cards are generally G.
Lot 4 - ‘70 Topps Football Glossy Namath. This one looks good but does have a surface crease on back left lower side.
Thanks for looking!
Rob
