Default FS-Red Murff The Scout- Searching for the best in Baseball-signed edition Nolan Ryan
For Sale:
One signed 1st edition copy of Red Murff's autobiography entitled The Scout- Searching for the best in baseball. Both Red Murff and Mike Capps have signed this 1st edition. Condition is perfect.

Red Murph was a former pitcher for the Milwaukee Braves and the ONLY scout that saw the real potential in a fireballing HS athlete from Alvin, TX named Nolan Ryan.
Red Murff signed Nolan to his professional contract with the NY Mets in 1965.
Nolan Ryan was quoted as saying:
"I didn't know what I had, no one did. Only Red Murff."

Great book & Murff is an excellent storyteller!
I had the great fortune to meet Mr. Murff in person at a private Grand Opening of The Ryan Center museum in April of 1999. Awesome!
