I'll ask him if it's true or not. I know at one point he had at least a half dozen Ruths and Gehrigs and kept one of each that hung framed on the wall for at least 20 years before he sold them. Say hi to your dad for me. We had dinner together along with John Rumeriez two Chicago Nationals ago. The three of us shared "war stories" from the early 70's shows and trades etc.
Spoke to him at the last National at his table a few times over the days of the show.
