SOLD: Circa 1908 cabinet photo of Admiral Schlei, catcher with the Cincinnati Reds and the New York Giants, 1904-1911
Based on Schlei's apparent age in the photo, and the "Young and Carl, Cincinnati, Ohio" photographer imprint on the mount, best guess is this was taken around 1907-08 when Schlei was still with Cincinnati.
Condition is excellent with a little edge wear. Ink and pencil notations on reverse. The cabinet originates from the estate of NY Giants pitcher Red Ames.
Overall mount size is about 5.25" x 7.25"
