I have been writing a Card of the Day article for the last three years, and I often try to match up jerseys on the older cards. I have found plenty of cards from the early 1920s that use photos that were 6+ years old. I don't remember the player off-hand, but one was nine years old. It was a 1921 card featuring a Pirates player in a 1912 uniform, which is a unique one-year style for the Pirates. May have been a Max Carey card
