For the longest time, they have wanted their opinion to represent the company as opposed to any individual authenticator. It's all part of brand recognition, to be certain. Heck, I've seen LOAs signed by a woman who used to work in customer service! She's no authenticator, yet has the authority to sign a LOA?
That makes no sense.
