Didn't want to start a new post, so I figured I'd bump this one instead. The Dots book is my passion project due to the connections (Pirates, hometown, family) to Miller. I do have two other recent books, including one that came out today.

It's a prospect guide for the Pittsburgh Pirates system. A group project between seven writers. Besides helping with the set-up of the book, I also contributed four short stories about the Pirates building their team over the years, with mentions of Clemente and Wagner, as well as an attempt back in 1884 to have minor league teams in the same city as the big league club. That story has basically been lost to history. Anyway, if you like prospect guides, this is the book for you. Great for any Pirates fans. There are seven history short stories total in the book. This one is also available on Kindle

Please check out my books on baseball history. They include the bio of star second baseman Dots Miller. A book featuring 20 Moonlight Graham players who got into just one game. Another with 13 players who were with the Pittsburgh Pirates during the regular season, but never played a game. There's also one about 27 baseball families, as well as a day-by-day look at the worst team in Pittsburgh Pirates history. All five can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/stores/John-D...hor/B0DH87Q2DS
