It takes a long time to do a backup because the attachment table is now 46GB. A Mysqldump is single threaded, so I had to use a tool to thread it and get it down to 2-3 hours. But that is 2-3 hours to backup and 2-3 to restore and the site must be offline during.

back up from the
table and go take a
sqldump, it can take a while.
