Just chiming in quickly to identify myself as the seller of all the high end packs from 1933 to 1970. I agree with all of your comments and respect you for your opinions. Stop by at the National anyway to see my unopened display packs - you don’t need to buy a thing - just enjoy.

But you will also see that I have been doing this for 50+ years and packs are just a small part of my display. I sell cards from the early 1900s to the 1970s for all sports and non sports. I sell wrappers and empty wax boxes too. I just made 5 more binders of baseball cards and non sports cards to add to my over 30 binders that I have completely revised for display - check out my 8 binders of wrappers. I focus on vintage items only - so it’s unlikely you will find any cards from post 1978 in my booth.

Just so you know, I have most packs of all sports from 1933 to 1970 in my own collection. I just sell my dups. If I suspect a pack has been opened and resealed, I would not buy it for resale. If I see a fold on a wrapper that I suspect is suspicious, I don’t buy it. I stick to my standards.
