We had the pleasure of recently meeting Jon, and it was clear from the start that he’s a true baseball historian. His passion for the Pirates’ golden era—rich in grit, glory, and charm—is contagious, and his knowledge of the team is truly inspiring.
We’re incredibly grateful that Jon has chosen to partner with Gross Vintage Baseball to make this special collection available to fellow collectors. Over the coming months, we’ll be offering a selection of these rare and beautiful items, each with a story to tell.

Jon has made the heartfelt decision to share these treasures with the world in support of his wife’s dream: to open a bakery and bring her exceptional talents to their community.
