I have your query of recent date, and hasten to reply as per your request.
The fact that your league plays only 7 innings to constitute a game has no bearing or effect in your case. It is the official ruling of the National League that section 3 of rule 23 must be strictly adhered to, and the club first at bat must have five completed innings.
