This program also educated me. I was unaware that White Sox tickets for the 59 Series were sold by lottery - a brainstorm of Mr. Veek's I'm assuming. I also didn't know there was a letter that accompanied the tickets to lucky person getting drawn to attend a game!
The program is in outstanding condition, except for where the ticket, letter and scorecard have been stapled to the program. Somone really loved this program and the whole experience.
Unfortunately, I'm not a White Sox fan.
Has anyone ever seen one of these letters before? Just curious.

I haven't seen the letter before but I had heard about the lottery. I have a scored program from Game 1 in which Koufax made his postseason debut. In addition, I have the Game 4 program (also scored which was Drysdale's first postseason start and win.
Both programs are great fits for my WS collection that includes tickets for each of the 1959 World Series games. I would share photos but it looks like my account has been restricted from sharing any.
