All these magnificent items show just why Hank Gowdy should be in the Hall of Fame. Shame on the voters the 10 times he was on the ballot, and Veteran’s Committee…….whats wrong with you. Not only a great Baseball player, coach et al, but a true American hero, as first to join the military during WWI AND serving again in WW2. You hear all the wailing and lamentations about Jackson and Rose…..but here is a ball player that DEFINED the game. Where is the hue and cry for Hank! Cooperstown should hang their head in shame. He , in my opinion , above many, deserves a spot. Hay decho!
