Wow. We finally get to find out what constitutes a complete set of Koester's Bread cards. Previously myself, and I believe other even much more advanced collectors, believed the Koester Bread set only consisted of players for the Yankees and Giants.

Hopefully each page of this lot should be inspected by our resident expert on Koester Bread and related E121 cards, namely Rhett. The position designations of many of the cards in this album, plus the thickness and paper composition of the cards, should be noted, so that Koester Bread cards can finally be identified, and thus currently classified W575-1 blank back cards can be potentially identified as instead being part of the Koester Bread set. And ideally REA shows each page of the album in their auction catalog.

And the consigner...a great find, but it brings up that ultimate moral dilemma within the hobby. The buyer purchased this album for probably something under $200, as it states in the article that he thought it might be worth around $200. Hopefully the consigner sends at least a little of the enormous windfall to be received from its auction sale to the person/family he purchased this from.
