Clearly you've ever worked on the other end of this business. Listing items and auctions, in the hundreds or thousands, takes an immense amount of work. Often its being done by less experienced employees who just have a picture and description to work with

Not everyone is an expert on every item they list. Setting up huge batches of auctions takes a ton of time.
