The Other One (Julie)and while the main characters in Dangerous Liaisons are evil puppeteers of people, Anna is a poor adultress with a husband who won't give her her child, and ends up throwing herself under a train. Much prefer Anna, of course, but I wasn't so sure the parents of a 15-year-old would.
