Thanks for the kind words, guys.
I got incredibly lucky with that 1927 ball. First, I obtained it years ago, before prices went absolutely nuts. And it was in an auction venue that, at the time, was known for cards rather than memorabilia, so I was not competing against many bidders, and, thankfully, none with really deep pockets.
