That's Herb Pennock (signed "H.J. Pennock"), not Hank Johnson.

The ball was signed by both Dutch Ruether and Wilcy Moore. 1927 was Ruether's last year, and Moore's first.

Additionally, it's a Ban Johnson ball. 1927 was the last year for them.

There's no doubt it's a '27 ball.
