davidcyclebackPeople commonly get a jersey signed on the front (typically top half, perhaps nearing the team name or logo) or back (typically on the number), so either way is hobby acceptable and it's up to you. I think it looks nicer on the front, but the back has the player's name. I like the team name/logo displayed, but probably more than half are signed on back due to the name plate. Football jerseys are most commonly signed on the back number, due to presence of the name plate. Unlike baseball jerseys, football jerseys are almost identical back to front, except for the name plate. Having it signed clearly on the front tail is is uncommon and less popular, though a reasonable choice in my opinion. The signature there would still be displayable. I had a football jersey that was signed on the sleeve. Not my or others' preferred spot, but the sig could be displayed with the arms out.
In short, it's up to you and either way is fine.
