set collecting is ROUGH, especially with prewar stuff. You can go years, as I have, missing only one or two cards to complete a set. I have nearly quit more than once on some of my sets.

Now player collecting, that is something I do too. Lefty O'Doul and Al Rosen are my current chases. Until you've tried it, you cannot imagine how tough it is to find some of the really obscure regionals, especially the postwar stuff.
