In fairness, no book has kept up with the vintage card market very well. Most of the non-T206 Pre-WWI sets are scarce enough that it's hard to track a lot of activity. However, most of the published "guesses" are out-to-lunch when it comes to accuracy.

A card is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. That's all.
