Chris Mc A former work associate of mine has a huge card collection, somewhere in the million card plus catagory. He has a couple of self storage units to house "the commons" He is the black hole of card collectors sucking up everything that gets close enough. I asked him one time how he got that by his wife and his reply to me was that for every dollar he spent on cards he spent an equal amount on stocks and bonds. To date he has never sold or traded a card and I am pretty confident to say he is sitting on a nice nest egg.
