I would much rather have border damage than a stain, writing, abrasion, residue or anything else which affects the picture area of the card (sheesh - I didn't think anyone was listening). To me, some cards look better without borders. But not t205s, nor several others.
I know I am not in the majority on this either, but I do not care about a card's back, unless it has stats or a player narrative on it. And pinholes, especially in the border, are sure welcome.
Go ahead grading services: please continue servicing me by downgrading cards for reasons of lesser impact to my values than your scale indicates.
