Ted- I agree that double printing players on a sheet is as old as baseball cards themselves. The number of cards in a set and the number that fit on a sheet generally don't coincide (occasionally they do) so the printer needs to fill in those blank spaces with something. I've noticed a lot of Thebos too so maybe that is one of the six possible double prints.
