Default Origin of a possible E107 find

Posted By: scott brockelman

E107's being very scarce are fairly easy to track. Many of the cards in the major E107 holdings came from several of the same sources, bearing marked characteristics.

group 1 has 2 tiny spots of paper loss at the top, some with remnants of pink paper. these were someones collection many years ago apparently all neatly mounted.

group 2 has lite toning marks on one upper and the opposite lower corner, all being "tipped" in an album at some point.

group 3 has penciled writing of team changes from the 1906-1911 era, i believe these were from the "Haber collection"

group 4 has either erasure marks in the upper left rear corner or the remnants of a small penciled number there. many of these can be found in SGC holders. they were from a group sold by Mastro a few years back, from a collector/dealer.

group 5 are all blank backed and show signs of glue residue or paper missing on the back

these are just 4 original collections that can be identified in addition to the previous one shown. also groups 1 & 2 are pretty highgrade from a front standpoint. group 3 are generally g/vg. group 4 & 5 VG/EX or so.

please feel free to ask any other questions in regards to the above. or share photos if you happen to have one you think is from the above groups.

Scott
