I won a group of 12 Pirates cards from Scott Gaynor & Co. recently and was wondering if anyone knows the origin. They came from a sheet and are now postcard-sized. Are there more, when were they printed, who's missing, etc?Secondly, what is it with 'vintage trimming'? Have scissors advanced so far in the past century that we can now cut in a straight line when others before us couldn't? These Horner pictures exhibit some really bad edges, like the person doing it was either drunk and/or furiously cutting the sheet before someone broke down the door. Sigh.Bill
