But it makes a difference to me, I wonder how you feel.

I much prefer a card which shows significant damage attributable to wear over one "in the same condition" because of accidental (such as an ink spot) or deliberate (such as pinholes) damage. Now admittedly those which grade vg because of non-wear damage may have better surface gloss and an improved appearance, except for the damaged area; but I still prefer even wear including creasing over a single point of damage.

However, this preference applies to the card front only.

That is, unless the back contains statistics or a narrative description which is important.

Gee, I wonder if this opinion is clear. How do you feel?
