I've collected White Sox for more years than I'd like to think about. At one time I had a more extensive collection, but recently have sold off most of my early type cards (pain in my heart) due to 3 kids in college (sometimes a pain elsewhere). I still have the standard White Sox sets - T201, T202, T205, T206, E120, all the Goudeys, Playballs, modern Bowman and Topps, lots of McCarthy Postcards and Brace photos, etc., plus scores of guides, yearbooks, programs, newsletters and othe team pubs.
My long-term collecting goal was to get one card,photo, image, etc. of every player in team history. Of the 1521 I'm still missing 5 - something to shoot for.
I've been a White Sox fan for 50 years, quite happy with last year's championship, but have been wondering if this may be the appropriate historical inducement to move on. There's no doubt my wife would love to free up the space.
