Jay B is correct in what he says....but if you don't want to take his word
then do a Search for Bill Heitman. Bill told us the entire story behind the
Gretzky-Gidwitz Wagner card in an excellent Thread about 6 months ago. Bill
had first hand knowledge of it.

And, for whatever it is worth, I and several other members of this Forum had
seen this very same card in its "raw" state back in the mid-80's at the Philly
Show in Willow Grove. And, upon close observation the consensus of opinion
was that it had been trimmed.

How many times do we have to go over this story.....if Bill Heitman tells us
the story......it's done, it's over with.

I also agree with your observation regarding "pop" reports. I've been collecting
T206's for a long, long time and I think these reports are misleading. I have
numerous facts to back this up: but, I'm not going to bore everyone at this
point with them.
