Brian E.The card looks real to me, if its not then its a very good reprint. Red flags are the private auction and the sellers ability to grade the card (8) yet not have it encapsulated as such.
I'd bet the card has been altered somehow. The seller is an hour away from me; I'm moderately tempted to contact them and see if I can see it in person, loupe and blacklight in hand of course. If it was a Cobb, I'd be all over it!
