Default Greatest Single Game Performance

Posted By: Ted Zanidakis

I could pick the game in which Bill Bevens came within one out of a No-Hitter
against the Dodgers, only to lose it by a hit off Cookie Lavagetto's bat.
But, any one of the 7 games in that Series are exciting. To me the 1947 World
Series between the Yankees and Dodgers has to rank as one of the most exciting
post seaon contests ever played. If you can view a tape of it, I think you will agree.

Check-it-out.
