He and several other Dodgers of the fifties were at an event at the Brooklyn Union Gas Company auditorium, twenty-odd years ago and after he had signed a '55 Bowman for me, I thanked him for all the memories. He looked at me and then gave me a nod. Very subtle and gracious. He and Clem Labine had a laugh teasing each other over the differences in how they looked on their old cards and how they looked now.
