Here is what I know about Star Player Candy Football, a.k.a, Anonymous Candy Football. I spilt the first lot from Mastro's auction with another collector.
Subsequently, searching on Ebay I found three more. It turns out he was a baker from the Midwest who consigned the orginal group to the Mastro auction along with numerous 1930's Goudey Baseball in NM/M condition. A few auctions ago, I ended up asking for a scans of the new group of football cards. I contacted my friend and told him there were some new ones, and he identified them as very similar to the 1928 Baseball Star Player Candy. That's where the SGC Checklist came from ...Hope that helps
