In the case of Prince Hal, statistics barely tell any of the story. He was a cancer, a gambler, a fixer and amoral. The teams he played on were made worse by his presence and he caused divisiveness everywhere he went. He did more damage to the game than almost any other individual player. So his 2100 hits and slick fielding can take a hike because of all the junk and evil he brought with him.
