You may be close to being right about having the National and little else after that. This is going to be sad because pre-war widows will be wondering why their husbands no longer journey a few hours to card shows. The wives probably like their free time away from the husbands... they'll probably figure a way to ensure that the shows never end.... TRUTH BE TOLD - it'll be the husbands that will either make up non-existent card shows in an effort to get the heck out of the house... those card shows will probably actually be luncheons or dinners in NYC (or whatever major city), you know - the ones that people make 300 post threads about on this board...

You east coast guys think you have it bad? Try living on the west coast and going to the very limited amount of shows available (that have nice pre-war material). FORT WASHINGTON was like a mini national every time it was open. That show was around a few times a year. If I could schedule work around a Ft. Washington show, I would. You east coast guys have it good....
