as we debated a week ago...the HALL needs to be the absolute best of the best...i DO NOT think a player should get in, just because he is compared to others who are in, but who are "marginal" HOFers...like: "well, this person belongs in because so-and-so is in there already"...that is B.S...the player has to be one of the most dominating players of his era...the door for the HALL must be a very tight one in order to truly honor and solidify the reputation of the hall and its deserving members for future generations.
