James FeaginHardly checkmate John. Our customers and consignors were almost universally satisfied with how we handled ourselves during that time. Jerry was trying to be snappy where a problem existed for less than a day. Sparky remarked that phone systems are archaic and don't allow for instant communication. He also mentioned that Lew Lipset even runs an internet auction. While his tone was nasty, the point was taken. I personally think Barry is a credit to the hobby, and how he wants to run his auctions are fine by me. From my own collecting viewpoint though, telephone auctions just don't allow me the flexibility.
