Frank WakefieldOld paper doesn't have brighteners in it. Brighteners fluoresce when illuminated by black light. My thinking is that a black light would show real 1950ish Exhibit cards as dull, but newer reprints would glow a bit.
Search black light on this board... Someone even has written a fairly scholarly piece about the use of a black light.
