A SABR geek would know and the NYT of October 9, 1961 confirms that 99 year old Dummy Hoy threw out the first pitch of the third game at Cincinnati. (Third pitch of first game would have been thrown by Whitey Ford, but I digress). Couldn't find anything correlating Hoy and the Twins.
