Frank WakefieldI think Dan has something there with the stamping thing... there can be other reasons, but that is a good one. I can see that in that day putting a mark on the back was not such a big deal.
And I am honored to have helped Ed get a card he needs. Right now I have 2 trades going. Trading cards is actually a bit more fun than buying them. I feel a little good about helping someone toward their goal, and I get a card I kinda want. It is like digging through a junk drawer, pulling out some junk that no longer excites you, and swapping it for some new junk that better suits the drawer.
I keep thinking that some day a bunch of us could list a few cards we want, and some we're willing to swap, then crunch that down and figure it out to see if a dozen or so of us couldn't swap some cards around to everyone's satisfaction.
