jeffK If SGC's registry was as friendly and functional as PSA's registry, there would be many more participants. For example, there's no convenient way of checking to see what's "new" on the SGC registry. Any new or updated SGC registry set is the falling tree in the forest that no one hears. There are other issues too, but this thread isn't about registries.
Neveretheless, an inferior registry hasn't affected the market value of pre-war SGC cards. I think buyers/bidders have a confidence in SGC's accuracy and consistency, and this confidence grows steadily, card by card.
And unlike GAI, SGC won't lose your cards.
